These are all nice, great photos. I also have E. schmollii, tried 3 times previous to start them from seed, finally on the 4th try I got 4, now 2" tall. Again, great photos.

Your Ecer. nivosus is actually an Ecer. laui. Nivosus has only white spines like Ecer. longisetus but shorter and a more intense colored flower.
