Tridentea gemmiflora (?)

I bought this guy back in February labelled as Tridentea gemmiflora, but it doesn't look like pics on Chris Moore or Dr. Barad's site. i know there is some variability in the inflorescence, but who am i to know? whatever it is, it's been really happy: growing new segments and even flowering! for size reference, this guy is in a 6 inch pot, i believe.
as for stink factor? when i brought it in the house to take its picture, i thought i had tracked in doggie doo! (i took it back outside for it's portrait session!)

Can't help with the ID but you have a very nice plant there ming...thanks for sharing. Did you purchase that in Tucson and if so where? I am about ready for a buying trip down there in the near future.

I found other names for it: Tromotriche (longpipes) and Stapelia (longpipes. Perhaps you can google overthere. greetz Hablu

I don know much about the Stapeliads, but I'd say not T. gemmiflora. More likely T. longipes.
