Striped Aloe - help confirm ID...

Denise

Just trying to get my IDs correct for our upcoming C&S club show/sale. I got this one several years ago in a trade. I was told it's A. karasbergensis. When I look at photos of this species, it looks quite large. Now, at the time, I assumed it was simply a pup, but after several years, it's still quite small (it's in a 3" pot, and I recently unpotted to to make sure roots had not filled the pot - doesn't need to be moved up...) It's as healthy as can be... nice fat leaves, puts on new growth but just stays small. Any input? Is it, indeed, karasergensis and the species is just an incredibly slow grower? Or could it be something else??
