| My discocacti have been putting out one or two flowers at a time previous to this. This is the first time one of them had six flowers at once. I was pretty impressed with this show. |

| My best guess is Discocactus crystallophilus. The flowers were very fragrant, opened up in the evening and closed up early the next morning. |

| Wow, that's gorgeous! D. crystalophilus looks right to me, too. That's not the easiest plant to keep happy; you've done a wonderful job! |

| The flowers are gorgeous! I never knew this cactus could bloom! I have a similar Discocactus crystallophilus, but mine has no flowers. Do I need to treat it specially for it to bloom? I am in south CA. |

| If it has a cephalium, it should be flowering. I use miracle grow on mine to encourage it to flower. |
