ID on Agave

Hello! I have had this agave for a some time now, and even had it transplanted to the backyard because it's size became unmanageable in my smaller front garden last year. It bloomed a few months ago, and just this week I noticed that the flower stalk (which had been toppled over to the side fence) was covered in bulbits, as was the floor below. Some of them had even began to root. Anyhow, this may be a long shot, since the plant is now dying and looks a bit different than when it was thriving, but would like to know if anyone has an idea of what kind of agave this may be. The plant leaves have no teeth and I live in FL, which means it has gone through both lots of heat and heavy rains on and off. Sorry this posting is so long. Any help would be appreciated, since I would like to be able to properly name the plant before I begin to share the bulbils with all of my garden friends. Cheers!

I think that might be a Furcraea, which is an Agave relative.

Here is a link that might be useful: Furcraea
