I have had this plant about 4 years but it has never bloomed. Does it hurt to repot? Also, will it propogate from cutting a piece and placing in a new pot?

These plants root easily from cuttings.

Also, some of these respond to cold night temps in the autumn with blooms.

Hmmm.... so leave it outside till first frost with the x-mas cactus? I have one of these two and ariole is right, they root easily from cuttings, I have made a few for mom and a friend or two. I used rooting hormone but it may not be necessary.

Thanks for the input. Maybe I will leave it out a little longer this year and hopefully see some blooms.
