Hi Pirate Girl! It's an Epi. :)
One of my Garden Club Ladies pawned it off on me,
insisted, actually, since she said she woud leave it out to die in the winter if I didn't take it in.

So how long does it take for these buds to do their thing.
It's still outside, should I bring it in?

Hi Joyce, it's a nice photo. A real beauty.

I know there's a bit different weather in mid-Europe, but my Epis are still outside now, and two types of them have a wonderful flower this time. It took almost 2 weeks while the buds has grown up, and opened their wings.

I have to mention, fortunately there is still 20-25 celsius outside and and doesn't drop below 10 in the night.

So I suggest wait for at least 1 week and notice what happened. (and send us a new photo :-) )
