Does anyone know much about these? They grow wild around here... Anyone know what type of house plant or garden plant they make?

Just curious.

That's bee-u-tee-ful, Paul! Where do you live? Wish those grew here (in the frozen tundra... right!)

They readily grow from seed (can become a "weed"). They are frost sensitive. They make a great outside annual plant in zone 9 (I'm in the Phoenix area), but I don't think they'd do well inside as they seem to require a lot of light. They are not heavy feeders and seem to handle drought well and are not picky about the soil they grow in. Those are my observations!
