Ive been away for a few days, came back and i see its bigger and greener already!

Good on you mate, isn't it rewarding when this sort of thing happens... interestingly, my victoria reginae isn't looking too healthy either. It would be about the same size as your was when it "took ill", I'll unpot it in the next day or so and check out the roots and repot it.
