What kind of succulents. Usually ants are a symptom of some other insect (aphids or root mealies), ants farm these insects for the honeydew. Had ants bury a large clump of Opuntia fragilis a few summers ago, had to get an ant bait ot kill them, they just moved. Sorry, no help here. You may need to repot.

You almost certainly have some form of scale insect on your plants, probably mealies. The ants are just a side effect.
