What great shots! I can't even grow such pristine-looking Pachyphytums indoors. I marvel that you can do it outdoors (and with that penguin mealy in the neighborhood, too)!

This one's on the top of a plant stand, so if it's bothered by the penguin mealy, we're presumably in deep kimchi.

I believe you're correct - I've seen the name as Agave stricta cv. 'Nana', but maybe I've the nomenclature incorrect.

Very nice Jeff. I envy their pristine condition. I find that my Pachy's and Ech's are usually marred by my fingerprints as I pinch the leaves to check on them. I must learn not touch them!

I love those beautiful rounded pachy leaves, it's a nice specimen Jeff... but penguin mealy? I've never come across that one, please tell me about it!!

If you keep it contained, it will stay small - I'm convinced that the plant got that large because I repotted it two or three years ago. If it went in the ground I think it would get basketball-sized.

Madam, I am in awe of you growing all that you do - it's nothing for me to do it here.

Really, they just sit there and get some water and fertilzer in the summer - otherwise they're on their own.

I do know a thing or two, but not nearly enough.

Ah Ha!, LOL - I like the penguin mealy, I used to have one a bit like that...(longer haired variety), it kept the rabbits at bay!
