I picked up this adult Melo at Walmart ... it was stuck on a bottom shelf behind some messed-up plants - and probably would not have seen sunlight for a long time. Too bad it seems like it finished blooming. It is very large, and very heavy, and the clay pot looks pretty old. Is it possible to judge Melo's age based on its cephalus? Also, any idea of a more specific type of a melo?
