Is that the little one that grows to maybe six inches high? They are probably the most prolific weed in the drier parts of my garden. Not succulent perhaps, but certainly very tolerant of dry soil.

Looking for more from Shrubs n Bulbs. Euphorbia is the largest plant genus on earth. More than 25,000 species, most of which are NOT succulent. They grow on every continent except Antarctica. That nasty little weed grows here in Southern California as well. Several dandelions are euphorbs as well.

Those little weeds are a pain in the butt down here, even where it's not dry, they grow as thick as hairs on a cat's back!

Yep, thats the one. I thought it was sun spurge but thats a bigger plant with longer lower leaves.

I used to use the juice as a cure for warts!

I just did a bit of googling and it may be Petty Spurge, Euphorbia peplus.

I think a lot of references may be confusing the two, because some places refer to Sun Spurge but seem to show Petty Spurge.

Strange, as in a book i have have Wild Flowers of Britain and Europe-Fitter, the 2 are very distinctive.
