Either way its nice to get so many flowers. I think its great the way the red petal tips pick up the red spine tips.

A lot of spring-flowering species will put out autumn flowers if they get a long growing season.

And another great feature of this particular plant is the very clean wool.

I do not do it but - it's great to water carefully, not with the hose. That's a wonderful autumnal picture.
