| I left the house for a long trip. When I came back, I saw some of my cacti bearing these brown markings
Left: Sclerocactus sp. This one has a dented marking, as if it was nibbled by some insect. Right: Borzicactus Samaipatanus, has a protruding marking. I tried to scrape it off, but it won't come-out. |

| I'll second that - diagnosis: sunburn Strong sun by itself is not necessarily harmful, but combined with hot temperatures and poor air circulation, well, you see the results. |
