Christmas cactus is really colorful. And it is also popular in my country. By the way, I come from China. It is luckly to find such useful forums and so many nice people who have the same interest with me.

From my former experience, there is a dormancy after the christmas cactus bloom over. And stop watering it to prevent its rot. That period would last for monthes. I suggest that prune that plant when it goes into the period of growing. And do not forget that there is also a dormancy in the most hot time of year. So limit water in this period. And then, in the same time of next year, your christmas cactus would be lovely again.
