Now is the time when the ancient Euphorbia E. antiquorum is in bloom. This plant is native where I live and seems to respond to the dry season by putting out flowers. There are multiple insects pollinating them. Up close they have somewhat sweet smell, but from far away it smells like fresh dog faeces!!

| Given the general smell, I'm not sure I would choose to get my nose up close to test for sweetness :) |
