I think the Saguaro was worth more than the car. Driver should have seen the nearby sign - Cactus Crossing. On second look, car jumped the curb and hit the Saguaro. It's not on the street, it is in a sandy cacti bed. How would somebody explain that to the insurance company?

I found it on the website of an italian nursery. Below is the link.
There's no credit for the pic on that page, I think he simply found it somewhere and put it on his website...
I sent him a mail asking for info, if he gets back with an answer I'll let you know.

My mom sent me a postcard from AZ with this same photo on it. I think it's funny, but I feel sorry for the Saguaro! LOL

Dear Kate,

As Alessandro implied, that pic is as old as the Internet is. I think you'd find it difficult to establish ownership, but as long as you attributed credit to an unknown source, but were nonetheless thankful for it, I think you'd be OK.
