It is a piece off a larger clump which got too old and straggly so I don't know how old it is. It would probably have taken two years to grow this clump from the large pup from which I started the plant from.
Phenominal pic! I set it as my wallpaper for a while if you don't mind. I bought one of these from Miles this summer. Mine is a fine specimen, and I hope it starts to clump this year. I really like this plant a heap!! Bill in SC
Just got one of these myself. It's rather silly looking right now; one large main plant with 2 small pups on either side, looking like upraised arms! I am looking forward to these gorgeous flowers in the spring. Amy
