You've outed me, or at least my atrocious spelling. I knew something was wrong, but couldn't determine what.

Oddly enough, if you water it year-around, it will stay in leaf year around. That's what I do with all the Sarcs. When I first got them, I'd let them go dry in the summer (and they'd go deciduous), and then they'd take quite some time to get gioing again. Someone suggested NEVER stop watering them, and they stay in leaf throughout the year.

Very interesting. It reminds me of a sea cucumber. You certainly do have a large collection of the unusual ones Jeff.
