While I'm waiting for the weather to get nicer to go outside, this is what I've been working on. I liked the 10 gal tank so well I went and got a 55 gal one:) I still need a couple of plants in it, the dragon is for me and the diver's helmet for DH. Grandgirl was Clown Loaches in it that are the closest I can come to 'Nemo' fish that are for salt water. CL are freshwater, that is.

I just started this tank up on the 18th and all I have in there while the water is cycling are Gouramis.

I like the dragon! We use to have a big tank too. The siphoned-off water from cleaning makes the best fertilizer for plants in pots ever!

Nice, Leslie! That sounds like a fun hobby, and I really like the setup you have. DH would love having one of those, and so would our kitty. LOL But I'm sure I'd be the one to take care of it, so it'll have to wait for now. :D

Hey thanks, I'm kind of partial to the dragon also. I talked the guy at PetSmart into selling me their display one since they didn't have any left on the shelf:)

I will use the water in the garden and have been pouring it on the areas I need to work still. This makes this one 55, a 10 gal and a 2 gal tank. They're multiplying!

One of the 3' tall cats can reach the 10 gal with his paws standing on the floor by it. No, no Harry I tell him, he watches the Khuli Loaches wiggling around on the side and front. They look like eels. There is nothing near for the cats to get up top on and the tops aren't made for easy hopping and they're completely enclosed. The other cats ignore them. I've had a betta on the counter for almost 3 years and they've left him alone. Grandgirl named the betta, Lucky:)
