Finally, got some get-up & go!

Not much but better than the last couple of weeks. We had a lot of gentle,soaking rain while the rest of the state got everything from bad weather to some really bad weather. Finally got some Salvia transplanted and it's doing so well here. Daffodils are up and blooming, really pretty, wish I had planted more. Got the roses all pruned, trimmed out, cleaned up and de-bugged and fed! Got the Geraniums out of bags in shed and replanted into some big planters. They all look like they're going to survive. The Camellias this year are really pretty, expecially the white ones. Will try to get some picture soon to post.

I'm told we had 3 days of pouring rain while we were gone. My rain gauge says we got 1.80".

Some critter got almost all the pea plants I put in before we left 10 days ago Rats!

DH retires on Friday and I'm sharpening the pruning shears. ;-)

LOL @ the pruning shears! What a refreshing few days we've had, with everything still damp from the rains, and the warm sun nudging everything into bud.

I love this time of year!

That sounds great Pat, glad you have spring flowers:) I'll be looking forward to your pics.

My get and go, got up and went. I got both flower beds all fixed up and it gave me a terrible migraine. I've been sick since Thursday with it. Serves me right for trying too much, I know better. I have the whole back yard and garden to go, groan... I do have dafs and crocus up though, makes it look cheery outside. Yellow and purple:)

Congrats again to your DH Westelle, I'll bet he's happy and you guys can travel.

Brenda it has been nice here too, I've got weeds taller than the pruned minis in the back:) I'm on my 3rd set of gloves from the stickers!
