Whoa! I'm sorry to hear that you're laid-up. I hope you're feeling better soon. Isn't it amazing how this world gets along quite well without us... a little disturbing too. Of course, Mother Nature's design might not be quite what YOU had in mind. :^)

Thanks Westelle, I am feeling much better & for once I'm doing what I'm suppose to do. I've always been the person that rises from a chair at full speed, cutting corners or having 2 things going just to save time. I think it's time for me to just kick back, take and give what I can & try to do that with grace &dignity!

I know what you mean about letting the plants alone for a bit. I'm always surprised, when I come home after a weekend away, that the plants have managed without me (and even seemed to thrive a little more, as if to say, "Leave us be! We're fine without you, lady!"). I worry about them as I would a teenager left alone. Although trust is good, mothering must be better! :D

NOW how come no one ever told me that plants & most everything else can do nicely without my supervision? I really am feeling 95% better. Just have to watch it for a while not to be out in the cold, start messing around till the "sweat" starts. So I put a patio chair in the garage, one out in front so I can sit down every few minutes or so. But in spite of this, I did get a lot done today, I think! Planted some more seeds, 1 flat of Cone flowers and 1 flat of Salvia. Got the mulcher out of shed, set up ready for all the leaves in front.

It's good to read that you're much better. Now stay well!
