She is gorgeous Mikey.... wow! Great pic, too.

I'm sticking to class 3 until I get more comfortable with Clematis. I have Venosa Violacea and Prince Charles beginning their second year. VV has a few blooms now and it is winding its way through the canes of our Westerland climbing rose. Prince Charles (which happens to be planted just behind my little Princess of Wales rose, hehe) is growing fast but no blooms yet.

Jenn: The support is made of three bamboo stakes put together in a tepee-like configuration.

Thanks Mikey. I can see that now...... do the stakes stay upright when the vine gets heavy?

This vine isn't that heavy as this is still a young plant. The bamboo rots out at the bottom and needs replacing about every three years.
