Sunshine Blueberry flowering in Oct?

Huntington Beach, CA...

I have 3 blueberry bushes (all in containers) that I purchased from Village nursery (Monrovia grown).

The "Sunshine" brand that is probably 2.5 years old and did produce a small quantity of berries this past summer...is now getting a couple flowers. Is this normal for October?

Very nice! I guess I never really noticed WHEN my BB plants would flower until 2008. And during 2008 & 2009, my plants flowered the third week in October, and now the fruit has just begun to ripen. I've already snacked on a few berries. Yummy! I have Misty, Sunshine, O'Neil and Tophat.
