| I am not sure what is ailing this old tree but hope to save it, as it used to bear the sweetest, seedless oranges. Attached are pictures of the leaves. I would like to know if anyone can identify what this is and suggest a treatment. I live in Los Angeles, County. Thanks! |

| Well, you've got leaf miners for sure. Maybe some type of mold as well. Fortunately, it doesn't look like psyllids. |

| The squiggly trail on one leaf was caused by a leafminer. The white stuff is from citrus whiteflies and sooty mold, which occurs along with whiteflies. Don't panic. These won't kill your tree. You can hose off the whiteflies. The leafminers are already inside the leaf, so there's not much to do now, but you can control the adult form with sticky traps you hang near your citrus. |
