Okay...yes, freaky, but where are you? Or a close enough neighboring area? I live in Fallbrook and we had snow like that here once about 20 years ago.

Oh I'm in Santa Clarita around 1400 feet and its already S of here since it got dark into the San Fernando valley.
I'm afraid ;) to look out in the morning as I won't see grass anymore. Its started to get heavier...again.
And just now the tv satellite is searching for a signal.
Born and raised in the midwest I know how to drive in it...

The grapevine is closed. Chances are it won't open till about 10am or so. That is usually when it does, and that is with escorts for an hour or 2, so may not really open until noon. That is normally the schedule or procedures they follow.
I expect the 14 to be closed tonight also if not already so people can't get around that way either.
I believe they are telling people to go N to take the 101.
I'm not enjoying it at all since its knocked out 95% of my satellite channels...although they could come back before they can get out to replace connections on the 15th.

I'm a little further up the 14 at 1350' and got a lot tonight. I had no sat reception until enough of it melted off the dish. That's a first for me.

They say we will ge hit again early tomorrow morning.

My wife's princess didn't care for it too much.

The cocker spaniel looks exceptionally peeved. Funny shot.

Gobluedjm, that hose is probably harboring water in the hopes that it freezes so that when you go to turn it on, you are squirted with water from a split in its side. Grrr.

Oh no Renee, I drain it everytime...lol
I am 1440' and snow is gone...good riddens.
On my way out this morning all front yards were green but I still had it in my back yard despite some rain overnight (I think it rained some).
Saw a few snowmen on way home and was still a little bit on the slopes in the Newhall pass.
My sat came back around 9pm last night but they said to keep appt since I am owed a free service call check anyway.
I checked with the flashlight and nothing was on dish last night.
Oh and I agree with Renee, poor princess doesn't look happy.
