Years ago I grew huge, productive Cherimoyas in Vista. My sister grew a very productive tree in Tustin. I now have a very large, but not so productive, tree in Escondido. Since they are native to Brazil [?], I wouldn't think that too much heat was a factor. I think the change in productivity for my trees is variety. My present tree is a seedling from store bought, and the Vista trees were there when I bought the house, so don't know the variety.

Possible?-its where they grow best! They do best two at a time for pollination-some types do well at doing it themselves. But all thats all over the internet on how to. But,dont worry-you have the best climate for them in the country.

thanks! i thought you had to hand pollinate but if you get two trees does that eliminate the process? also, how big do the trees get? can you find dwarf ones?
