Rainy weekend ahead. Time to plant seeds?

This is a timing question. Plant seeds outside now or wait?

We moved here last June, and one of the discoveries was packets of seeds in a tupperware box in a cabinet. Both flowers and vegetables. No idea how old these seeds are, but I also purchased some fresh seeds too.

I gathered many raisins from our old wine grape vineyard, and plan to sow those seeds along the chain link so the vines can grow. They will be a blend of Cabernet, Tempranillo and other red wine grapes. I'd like to plant other vining veggies on that chain link too.

With rain predicted, should I soak some seeds, and sow them tomorrow or before the rain hits?

Thanks!

Suzi
