For those of you living in or visiting San Diego, I wanted to let you know the San Diego Zoo offers a botanical bus tour on the third Friday each month; they call the third Friday "Plant Day". The next one is Friday 21 February; perhaps I'll see some of you there!

Here are details:
Orchid House is open for Orchid Odyssey as a part of Plant Day 10 a.m. to 2 p.m (plus select Sundays).
The botanical bus tour leaves at 2 PM from the bus tour unloading area, right of the main entrance along Front St. The horticulturist I spoke to recommended queuing about 15 minutes before.
