Not to worry - old folks water use scant

Couldn't resist sharing this story. Headline: "REGION: PLANNERS SAY OLDER POPULATION TO LESSEN WATER DEMAND".

It's not because of the dirty old men syndrome [ we oldsters don't bath as often], the experts opine that ..."Thousands more residents are expected to live in apartments or condominiums, many at retirement communities. Water use is significantly less at retirement communities than at traditional single-family homes, where lawns and swimming pools are a big draw on water...."

Ahhh... the soothing blather of "experts".

Here is a link that might be useful: Oldsters use less water

And when they aren't snoozing in their new apartment, they will be on the golf course. That's what I heard anyway....that we need to put more golf courses in as we get more retired folks.
