Not too soon to fertilize King palms?

Posted by stanofh (My Page) on

The nights are about 50,the days are about 60 and getting longer. Since King palms seem to keep growing in early spring-would a mild dose of fertilizer help? Normally, fetilizing this soon might seem not a good idea...but those palms seem pretty hardy and robust.

Sounds like the KP grows best when not too cold or too hot. Is yours in a pot?
