I came across your post while researching carnations. Thompson and Morgan in Europe, http://www.thompson-morgan.com/
has them this year. I don't know whether they ship to the U.S, or not, but you could check. The American version of Thompson Morgan, tmseeds.com, carries a different kind called "Carnation, Trailing Mixed." However, the American one appears to have been bought out by somebody, judging by the huge number of complaints at Gardenwatchdog.com, so I don't recommend them.
