I found this link which might/might not help. You didn't mention soil type, hours of sunlight, amount of water,drainage etc., fertilizer routine & type, etc.

Mine took 3, maybe 4 years to start producing. But now, I have torrents of limes. How long have you had it?

Is it indoors or outdoors? In a pot or the ground?

"Established" citrus needs heat, regular water and fertilizer (they are heavy feeders).
Uneven temperatures and/or uneven watering can cause fruit drop.

I've had this tree for 2 years now. It is located outdoors in a full sun spot with good soil that I amended with compost when I was planting it. Since then, other than watering, I haven't really fertilized it. It has a good amount of green growth on it since planted it, but since the one time that it tried to set fruit, it hasn't really blossomed.

I guess lack of fertilizing and the fact that its still relatively young might be the reason for no fruiting.

I will try fertilizing it, putting it on a regular watering schedule, I hope to see some fruits of my labor!! :)

I would give it another year or two before you get too concerned. With relatively long lived trees like citrus, reproduction takes a back seat to survival. Once it can support both foliage, growth and fruit development without drawing upon reserves (after all, the tree doesn't know that it's being cared for) it will do so.

My Bearss lime tree behaved similarly the first 3 or 4 years. It fruits prolifically now.

Thanks Lianne, I will be patient with mine. Maybe next year I'll get some fruit too! Your citrii -plural citrus- look great!! :) Is it citruses?
