Flagstone Steps

I've been trying to post photos of part of my yard and remembered I had some online from when I put in flagstone steps two years ago:
The Euryops have quadrupled in size. They just love it here. The grass is a goner. With water rationing and our hot summers, plus shade from oaks and pines, it just wasn't worth the trouble.

I love the risers. What a cool idea- you can use up the smaller pieces this way!

The grass really didn't do much for the space anyway, so it was a good idea to let it go. The trees and hillside plantings are just beautiful.
