It really looks like a rose. What a pretty plant. I had a purply-pink one once once, but it did grow to eight feet- in a three foot wide spot.

I am adding this plant to my water-wise garden plan now. Thanks for the photo.

When I planted my first c. skanbergii, the label said it would grow to 3' x 3'....that first one is now about 6' x 8' or wider.....lol..

I think that is the largest flower I have seen on Cistus, very nice. The tiny flowers of the Santa Barbara daisy make a nice contrast that brings out the relative size difference. Al
