Internet vs. gardening books

I have many gardening books but haven't opened at least 95% of them for years because I use the internet (gardening forums, etc) and Sunset Western for inspiration and research.

I'm Spring cleaning the closets to prepare for a large community yard sale at the end of April. I have at least 3 grocery bags full of books to sell. I also have a large plant encyclopedia in very good condition. I know the expectation of buyers is very low prices and that is fine, but I don't want to practically give them away. I also don't want the bother of selling them on Amazon or Ebay. I'm more in favor of quickly creating more space in the closet than making as much money as possible.

What do you think is a good price for a hardback gardening book (approx 8-1/2 x 11) in very good condition? What would you be willing to pay at a yard sale?

Whatever isn't sold will be hauled away from the site and donated.

I'm torn and would appreciate your input.
