I wish I had started harvesting fruit this month! The blueberries and strawberries are the closest to being ready, but still green. The loquats on our tree are little green nubbins and the biggest peaches are only about the size of a quarter. We'll be getting some fruit next month though, I'm sure.

The last of the Lisbon Lemons are ready for picking.

peachymomo, you could probably grow some early blueberries like O'Neal that might be ready about now. Snow Chaser is reported to be earlier still, but I've never tried that one.

westelle, I did fail to mention Meyer and Pink Lemonade lemons are still holding on the tree right now. The Meyers are good for just about everything and the PL makes the best margaritas.

I've never heard of Snow Chaser, I do have a very young O'Neil, maybe when it's more mature it will fruit a bit earlier.

I would love to get a tree greenhouse and grow some citrus, I think with that I would be able to fill in the fruitless months so I could get a year round harvest.

peachymomo, I too just heard of 'Snowchaser' for the first time this year. You're in a zone where it might make more sense to preserve rather than go for fresh out of hand year round.

I have Meyer lemons that will probably finish this month, plus my tomatoes, if you consider them to be fruit.

I have several fruit trees that have yet to make fruit, and I am in the middle of hand pollinating my cherimoya tree - have no idea whether I will be successful or not and no idea when the fruit is supposed to get ripe.

Blueberries. Just stripped the Fuerte avocado also.

Alpine strawberries started the first week of March and are going strong, the loquats from the tree on our morning walk to school, very sweet navel oranges from the neighbor and huge Meyer lemons from one of my students.
Yellow raspberries and boysenberries are next. There's fruit set on apples peaches grapes (a giant amount of fruit) and cherries.
Also my favorite yard snack: snow peas.not fruits but awesome all the same.

Unknown inherited blackberries. Big, black and juicy! Yumm! Peaches to follow. A few figs that escape the birds.
