I would have the same question for the Bay Area. I have started like 10 plants from seeds and get them going OK, inside, but once I replant them outside, they all seem to die.

They are in the start pods, so I'm not disturbing their roots. It does still get chilly at night here but no where close to freezing. And the days are warm but not too hot. They are watered for 20 minutes every 2 days.

It is frustrating that they all keep dying. I have 2 left and I'm hesitate to replant outside.
