Same here in Fresno. I need to think about daily watering of the potted plants -- already!

It's awful! One of my new camellias is sunburned :(

We are having terrible winds here. Trash cans rolling down the street, trees breaking, flowers shriveling. The electricity keeps going out. The gusts must be 40 mph at least.

My Brugmansia were lush and green when the highs weren't over 80..now,they wilt and some leaves yellowed in the heat and low humidity.

Hot here but no winds...I do see dollars flowing out of the end of my hose......

The brugs have been ripped right off the tree. Irises have melted, the roses have had whole canes snapped off. There is a big wildfire just a few miles away. I hope the weather changes soon.

Sunday should be nice. I was cleaning up after the wind and cutting off toasted rose blooms and buds. Why don't the weeds fry instead?
