Supposed to be near 90 today and especially tomorrow. A 90 in April?? And all my subtropical's are growing. I usually don't see this pace until June.

..and bait!..snails are out in army numbers.

It's ruining my irises and roses. Grrrr.

RE: Record warm?

I was thinking I might try more temperate things. Its nice to see plants greet spring every year with a big flush of lush green growth...when the Subtropicals look haggard and waking up. And even then, this is early to see them flush.

RE: Record warm?

I agree- I get a nice spring flush in my flower garden, when the tropicals are recovering from frostbite and winter. Then the patio area comes into its own in the summer when all of the tropicals and water plants grow, and I can ignore the barren wasteland of the flower garden all summer and fall.
