It's planting time again. I can still plant my tomatoes, squash, leafy greens etc, but my dear wife has advised me that she would like our small Noe Valley backyard to also become a haven for bees, butterflies and humming birds, who am I to disagree. Any suggestions for low maintenance, drought resistant species that might also discourage infestation by pests. Don't know about y'all but last year was a tomato disaster. What are y'all planting.
Thanks.
Pat Monk.
