Planting a few 2 ft-3 ft jade plants (Crassula ovata) in front of my porch and need some perennials to plant in front of them for color.

This is partly shady spot (4-6 hours of sun in the morning) and in USA zone 9 (Sunset zone 15), northern CA (Mountain View).

Looking for a perennial that blooms longer and has good color.

Thats enough sun for a Jade to do really well.
You should try and get something very drought tolerant or the jades will die of overwatering.
I would put the jades in a more sunny location.
