Could be 'Little Eleanor', especially if it stays on the short side for an Alstroemeria (1' or so).

Almost all the named varieties are dwarf ones less than 18" tall (Princess series for example). The taller ones are seed grown strains like Ligtu hybrids. There is dwarf picture which matches your flower, but it's height is 15" Princess Angela.

I don't know which one it is,but i'd like to ask if you are willing to trade seeds.I have both pink and purple of the shorter variety,and would like to get other colors.

This is one plant you can't kill,and mine throw lots of seeds if i don't catch them in time to harvest them.PLMK.

I've decided that I must have Alstroemeria Inca Ice also called Koice. I'm pretty sure I bought it at Terra Sol in Santa Barbara and it was a San Marcos Growers plant. It's just taller than any others I've seen or heard about. When you pull a dozen plants and you have full flower heads with straight 36" stems, it makes you feel like a cut flower goddess.

Kathi: I'm not much of a seed collector, but I'm happy to send you some of the rhizome/tuber thingies. They are very hardy and easy to get started. In fact, I find Alstroemeria a little invasive. If you change your mind about where you want it, it's difficult to dig out all the way. You don't know what you missed until a few months later when new stems appear.

Hello! I was wanting some help. I bought cut flowers from HEB and one of the flowers was alstromeria. I will enclose a picture. When I started clipping my stems I noticed what looked like seeds? clinging to the plant stems and buds. Are these alstromeria seeds? I can't find help anywhere identifing the seeds. Any help would be appreciated! If they are seeds can these be planted in garden beds next to my house?

Not easy but seed, but you could try.

That is interesting hoovb. I recall my friend had the species type of alstroemeria growing in her yard, and every year, seedlings popped up all over the place! That was in San Diego County.
