Filoli Gardens in Woodside has Clerodendron bungei growing in the shade by the front door of the mansion, and I was quite taken with it. I was able to find some and planted it here in my garden. With dendron in the name one would expect it as tree size, but I never saw it over 3 feet tall. In my garden it is over 6 feet tall and more than an inch in trunk diameter. It is also every where, even growing up through other plants such as Coleonema. While it is pretty in bloom, I wish I had never planted it. Al

Thanks Al. I had that one years ago,and never planted it out because I was warned about that AFTER i bought it. Then,it died going too dry.
This one seems to be more warm needy. But,its early and I cant really tell what its going to do.
