Orange kitty! I stopped using that in my landscapes as it is too hard to control, but looks nice in your yard.

Ha ha. You stopped using the kitty or the needle grass? Yes, the needle grass seeds around but it is easy to edit out. I think in warmer climates it poses more of a problem, here in the Bay Area, it's not so hard to control. The kitty, on the other hand....

Both!

I have a buddy who used to have a house way up the hill in Hayward and I had a heck of a time eradicating the Stipa (at that time). I sure like when young. We have Nasella in the shortgrass prairie-ponderosa mix around here and always browsed, so more than just cats like it!
