It's been perfect, perfect I say, perfect weather the last three days here. It inspired me to go deadhead a bunch of annuals instead of pulling them out by the roots, in hopes that the weather will continue to be perfect and they will bloom again.

I agree with Renee. Nice here! Not to hot to go to Huntington gardens on saturday and came home and the gopher finally got caught in the trap. Made my day. Then I planted 3 pin cushions this morning. Another nice day today also.

Eh,upper 60's isn't my idea of late May. In the good news dept. the bay area should be between 80-90 starting Wednesday. I can hardly wait. If it wasn't for the long days it could be February.

You can darn well keep that 80-90 stuff up there.....lol..

They say it's 70 here right now,but it sure is a cool 70,windy and has been all day,and the wind is cold coming off the ocean and across the canyon,little to no sun.

I'm not doing much of anything today,so it really doesn't matter to me.

On this grey and cool day I ate my Memorial Day hotdog on the deck to the scent of woodsmoke from a neighbor's fireplace, not charcoal from bbq's. Interesting unofficial start to summer, eh? After three years praying for a good tomato year I've given up, I planted some just in case but I'll take whatever I get from the garden and just enjoy the weather as it comes.

I didn't even plant tomatoes this year. One in five good years wore me out. Some people can get good crops every year. Not me.

Hayward,the SF bay area..halfway between SF and San Jose. We always have that bay breeze thing in this weather that's more like the cool north bay. And in warm weather, we are more like the far southern bay cities..over 80 and up. Its that back and forth pull that keeps me exasperated sometimes.

Woo, rain! Finally. At least here in Santa Rosa... even the ground under the redwoods got wet, and I can't remember that happening since, well too long to remember!

Lucky you! We only got the cold winds and gloomy skies.

We have had showers every day for the past four at least. I am grateful for help with the watering.
