Plants suggestions for 'Soundproofing'!!

Hi,

Can anyone recommend any plants for a part sun/part shade spot that would be good at absorbing the sound from my next door neighbor's drum kit? I realize it will not actually "soundproof" my yard, but I thought that there could be a type of "dense" plant or tree that might help a bit. Anything to even muffle the sound!

Plants make a good visual screen not effective as a sound barrier. For sound a dense material is needed like concrete. Al

Plants will not help in soundproofing. Nor will concrete actually. Try QuietRock soundproofing drywall. ItÂs a reasonable and effective option for soundproofing!
