| OK... I know this is a totally neophyte question, but......
How do you dry chick peas? Sometimes one just leaves plants alone and the pods will dry, but some others call for the vines to be pulled and hung in a dry place for the pods to ripen; still others take off the pods and let them dry out that way. So.... what's a girl to do? |

| Eat them fresh! There is a lady at our Farmer's Market who sells fresh garbanzo/chickpeas, and they are so delicious!. The Sacramento Bee even has a recipe for them today. But to answer your question, I would pull and hang upside down in the garage. Carla in Sac |

| We did eat lots of fresh ones, but thought to let the last of them dry. I'm definitely going to grow these again. |
