I've an upstairs bathroom and bedroom with large skylights positioned on a southern-ish slanting roof, so I get several hours of bright sunlight in both rooms - making the indoor temps/conditions like the outdoors.

Both rooms have lots of windowsill/counter space. Are there a fragrant or flowering (or both) plants I could place in these rooms?

I've thought about growing jasmine in the bathroom, but my local nursery looked at me like I was nuts. I have peace lillies and anthuriums in the rest of my less-lit bathrooms, and some ferns and orchids in other rooms.
